Schedule of diploma examinations announced: Exam online and MCQ method

MSBTE has announced the schedule of diploma examinations. These exams will be conducted by MCQ method. Practical exams will be held before the theory exams.

Winter examinations of Engineering and Pharmacy Diploma courses coming under the jurisdiction of Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE); Also, the winter practical examination of regular, backlog students of short term courses, theory examination will be conducted online in multiple choice (MCQ) format. Accordingly, Diploma Theory Examination will be held from 2nd to 23rd March, First Session and Direct Second Year Engineering Diploma Theory Examination will be held from 24th to 30th March, Theory Examination of Non-AICTE Courses will be held from 2nd to 12th March.

Secretary of Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education Dr. Mahendra Chitlange announced the possible schedule of the respective examinations. There will be practical examinations before the theory examinations of the courses. According to the guidelines, winter exams are to be taken online in multiple choice. Students can take the exam from their place of residence. This exam is from 10 to 12 in the morning; It will be held in two oranges from 2 to 4 pm and two hours will be given for the exam in each session. Students will have to solve 30 out of 40 questions in two exams.

Students who cannot take the exam from home. They will be provided the facility to appear for the examination at the nearest polytechnic. Students’ practical examination should be conducted orally at the institution level using online system. For this, practical examination should be conducted using various meeting applications. If this is not possible, then the demonstration examination should be conducted at the institutional level by telephone. If it is not possible to take the practical examination of the students even after all the efforts, such students should be given marks by evaluating them on the basis of assignments, journals, continuous evaluation. The responsibility of conducting the examination smoothly will remain with the principals of the technical education institutes. Chitlange has said.
