Budget 2021 Health Sector: The Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has a special emphasis on the health sector. In order to revive the stagnation of the economy during the Corona crisis period, the Self-Reliant Healthy India Scheme has been announced. The central government has made a provision for this in the budget of 64180 crores. Also, a huge increase has been made in the health budget. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also announced that the WHO’s local mission will be launched in India. The Finance Minister said that for the health and family welfare, an allocation of Rs 2,23,846 crore will be made in 2021-22 as compared to Rs 94,452 crore estimated from this year’s budget.
At the same time, the Finance Minister said that the Swachh Bharat Mission will be taken forward, under which the Amrit Yojana will be extended in cities. A provision of Rs 2,87,000 crore has been made for this in the budget. Mission Nutrition 2.0 has been announced by the Finance Minister. Also, 35 thousand crore rupees were announced for the corona vaccine. The Finance Minister said that the health sector budget has been increased by 137 percent. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a Rs 64180 crore health scheme.
Website will be made for the public health sector
The Finance Minister said that a website will be created for the public health sector. He also said that wellness centers will be built in rural-urban areas and work will be done for the betterment of the National Health Center. Apart from this, four Virology Institutes will be built in the country. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that Mission Nutrition 2.0 will be launched in the country. He also informed that two other corona vaccines are also coming soon in the country. Apart from this, two mobile hospitals will be built.
