A large number of villagers gathered on receiving information about the incident. The SDRF and divers reached the spot and started rescue operations. As soon as the information of the incident is known, the relatives of the people on the bus are also reaching the spot, there is a furore on the spot.

Driver’s haste took more than 30 lives

According to police, the bus had a capacity of 32 passengers, but 54 passengers were filled in it. The bus was supposed to go to Satna via Chuhiya Valley on the direct route, but because of the jam here, the driver changed the route. He was taking a bus from the bank of the canal. The road was quite narrow and the driver lost balance during this time. Let me tell you that the highway going from Jhansi to Ranchi goes via Satna, Rewa, Sidhi and Singrauli. The road here is bad and incomplete. Because of this, there is a situation of jam on the day it comes here.

Shivraj is in touch with the rescue team

Shivraj Singh Chauhan took immediate cognizance of the accident. He said, “The canal is quite deep. We immediately stopped the water from the dam and sent relief and rescue teams. The team of Collector, SP and SDRF are there. Efforts are being made to remove the bus. I am in touch with the team doing relief and rescue operations. Seven companions have been saved.
