Deadly attack on SHO at Singhu border, accused arrested from Mukarba Chowk #Farmersmakeindia

A protestor involved in the farmers protest on Delhi’s Singhu border attacked a Delhi Police officer on Tuesday and then escaped from there. However, the police later arrested him from Mukarba Chowk.

It is worth mentioning that at 8.00 pm on Tuesday night, a protestor (Nihang) named Harpreet Singh snatched the car of the first Delhi Police jawan on the sword. After which the police started chasing him, he left the car at Mukarba Chowk and ran away with a scooty.

During this time the police force comprising SHO Samaypur Badli Ashish Dubey was following him. Meanwhile, the protestor attacked SHO Ashish Dubey with a sword. However, the SHO narrowly escaped the attack.

According to the information, he suffered injuries on the neck and fingers after which he was admitted to the hospital. The accused hails from Punjab, against whom two cases have been registered and he has been arrested. The first trial has been recorded of robbery, the second 307.
