According to our information, there are 178 police stations in the national capital. However, none of these police stations have a woman in charge, the commission said in a statement.

A rule has been framed to give 33% reservation to women in the police force. Even after this, the participation of women in the force is low, the statement said.

The commission has also demanded information on female and male officers of inspector rank to verify the eligibility of women officers in charge of the police.

Delhi Women’s Commission chairperson Swati Maliwal has informed about this on social media.
