Punjab Government 6th Pay Commission: The 6th pay commission of the Punjab government has recommended a double increase in the salaries of government employees. In addition to making a simple, transparent, and easy recommendation to implement the Pay Matrix for all employees of the Government of Punjab, the Commission has suggested that pensioners at the present interval of 5 years from the age of 65 years and Old age allowance should continue for family pensioners.
