Mamata Banerjee support against GNCTD Amendment Bill 2021, Arvind Kejriwal Said Thanks

The Central Government and the Arvind Kejriwal Government of Delhi have come face to face once again. The Kejriwal government has opened a front against the central government over the National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2021 and now in this fight, the Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal of West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee has also got along.

In fact, on Wednesday, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party leaders and activists demonstrated against the NCT bill at Jantar-Mantar. On Thursday, Mamata Banerjee has expressed her support on this matter by writing a letter to Kejriwal.

He wrote, ‘I stand with full solidarity against the devious, anti-democratic and anti-constitutional move of the Central Government to remove the Delhi government and increase the powers of the Lieutenant Governor by reducing the status of the CM of Delhi.’

Banerjee has further written in her letter that I respect the post of Prime Minister, but I am regretfully telling her that you want to give more powers to the Lieutenant Governor than the elected Chief Minister. I condemn this and I think every citizen who believes in democracy will oppose it. I support Arvind Kejriwal and the elected government but cannot support the nominee.

Kejriwal expressed gratitude

Gadget Kejriwal expressed his gratitude by tweeting the support of Mamata Banerjee. Kejriwal said that anyone who supports India and democracy will definitely oppose the bill. During this, he also wished Mamata Banerjee’s health and her victory in the Bengal elections.

Kejriwal tweeted and wrote, ‘Thank you for supporting the unconstitutional move of the Central Government. No one who cares about India and its democracy can support this bill. I hope to withdraw this bill from the BJP government. Take care of your health. I also wish you a landslide victory in the upcoming election.
