PBKS vs RCB: The Punjab Kings, who have been on the back foot due to their relentless performance, will have to do their best in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) here on Friday to get their campaign back on track in the Indian Premier League (IPL). It will not be easy for the Punjab Kings, who have lost 5 wickets at the hands of the Kolkata Knight Riders, to face the tough challenge of RCB, whose team is doing well in every department.

Rahul has so far taken the responsibility of batting on behalf of his team and they will be hoping for a good start to the team again. Mayank Agarwal has not been able to take advantage of a good start while Chris Gayle has been able to walk in only 2 out of 6 matches. Nicholas is battling to score a full run. He has been able to score only 28 runs in 5 matches. In 3 innings, he could not even open an account. The team was replaced by T20 leading batsman of England. David Malan should be placed in the playing XI.

When there is no big score then Punjab bowlers also can do nothing. His bowling, however, lacks aggression. He could not defend 195 against Delhi Capitals while barely defending 221 against Rajasthan Royals. RCB, on the other hand, is full of confidence after consistently performing well and winning by 1 run against Delhi Capitals. AB de Villiers again showed his mettle in batting, while the bowlers put together a good effort to give RCB a 5th win.
RCB batting also relies heavily on Virat Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal, de Villiers, and Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell. However, these four are doing well due to which the team continues to win. Rajat Patidar showed his ability in the last match while Kyle Jamieson can also score useful runs in the lower order.

The bowling department of RCB has also been effective. Harshal Patel played his part well, while Mohammad Siraj made a successful defense of 14 runs in the last over despite the dangerous Rishabh Pant and Shimron Hetmyer being at the crease in the previous match.
