At Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh Road Safety World Series Is on. Many former international cricketers are playing in the T20 tournament. In this competition from India Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, and other veteran players are playing.

The tournament features teams from India, England, South Africa, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. International bookmakers and bookies have seized the opportunity to compete. The tournament was postponed after a few matches due to Corona last year. Now it has started again from last week. It is estimated that more than Rs 30 crore has been spent on each match of the tournament Speculation Being planted.

Some people were arrested from a hotel in Telibandha on Monday for betting on a match between Sri Lanka and South Africa. Among those arrested were six bookies from Telangana, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh, including Bookie Kansara. The interrogation of those arrested revealed that several major bookies in the country were active in and around Raipur.

Local and national bookies are working together on the occasion of the ongoing Road Safety World Cricket Series in Raipur. It is learned that some of the biggest bookies in the country have set up a network in the city.

Bookies from Mumbai, Goa, Nagpur, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh are in Raipur and they bet around Rs 30 crore every day.
