Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy: Shahrukh Khan, Mahipal Lomror, and Vishnu Solanki beat bowlers in quarter-finals, Mangal Mahrour of Bihar Also left a mark

Baroda’s victory over Haryana was the middle-order batsman Vishnu Solanki. He scored an unbeaten 71 runs. Haryana had scored 148 runs for seven wickets. Baroda needed 15 runs off the final three balls. Solanki hit a six and then a four on fast bowler Sumit Kumar. Baroda was now five runs away from the target and Solanki scored the winning six off the last ball to take the team score to 150 for two. Solanki hit 4 fours and 5 sixes in his innings of 46 balls.

Mahipal Lomror played a stormy inning against Bihar. Mahipal scored an unbeaten 78 off 37 balls with the help of five fours and as many sixes. Lomror scored at a strike rate of 210.81. In the same match, Mangal Mahrour of Bihar scored an unbeaten 68 from 58 balls with the help of four fours and two sixes. Lomror’s innings helped Rajasthan defeat Bihar. Tamil Nadu’s Baba Aparajith and Shahrukh Khan fiercely washed the Karnataka bowlers. Aparajith scored 52 not out. Shahrukh scored a stormy 40 off 19 balls. During this, 5 fours and two sixes were hit.

Punjab’s Simran Singh, who played for Kings XI Punjab in the IPL, scored an unbeaten 49 and Mandeep Singh scored 35 runs. Among the bowlers, Tamil Nadu’s Sonu Yadav took 3 wickets for 14 runs in 4 overs against Himachal Pradesh. Vaibhav Arora of Himachal took three wickets for 30 runs in 4 overs against Tamil Nadu. Siddharth Kaul of Punjab took three wickets for 15 runs in 4 overs against Karnataka. Apart from him, Sandeep Sharma, Arshadip Singh and Ramandeep Singh took two wickets in the same match.
