Reliance Jio’s 5G phones and laptops will be launched soon. A report has revealed this information. At this year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), Jio could launch its first 5G smartphone and low-cost laptop, the Jio Book. The smartphone is being built in partnership with Google. According to the report, this is Android and Android Go, Google’s lightweight OS. Which is designed for entry-level hardware smartphones. The report did not share much information about the laptop.

The Reliance JioBook will publicly feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor with an HD (1,366×768 pixels) display and a Snapdragon X12 4G modem under the hood. It will feature up to 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 64 GB of eMMC storage. Connectivity options on the smartphone may include a mini HDMI connector, dual-band WiFi, and Bluetooth. Laptops can get preloaded apps like Jiostore, Jiomet, and Jio Pages.
