ICC Ranking: Rishabh pant at seventh place in ICC test ranking

The International Cricket Council has released the latest rankings for the batsmen. In this ranking, India’s batsman and wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant For the first time in the Test rankings. Pant is ranked 7th. Not only that, he matched Rohit Sharma’s ranking.

Rohit Sharma is ranked seventh in the Test rankings. So is Henry Nicholas. Rishabh Pant secured this position with 747 points. All three batsmen are joint seventh. Next is Pakistan’s Babar Azam. He has 760 points.

New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson tops the Test rankings with 919 points, followed by Australia’s Steve Smith, Marnus Labusha, Joe Root, and Virat Kohli. Virat has 814 points.

Pant had a stellar performance in the recent Test series against England. The reward for his performance appeared in the rankings. R Ashwin is second on the bowlers’ list and fourth in the all-rounder’s list. Ravindra Jadeja is third on the list.

In terms of T20 rankings, the Indian team is in second place while England is in the first place. Both the teams will play a five-match T20 series from tomorrow, March 12. England has seven points more than India. India was ranked second. But after a 2-3 series loss to New Zealand, Australia was relegated to third place. But the difference between the Australian and Indian teams is only one point.

In batting, India’s KL Rahul slipped to third. Virat Kohli is in the sixth position. England’s David Malan and Aaron Finch are in second place.
