Focus on the Opposition

The Samajwadi Party leader, Lalji Verma said in an exclusive interview that Akhilesh Yadav was wanted as the leader of the opposition in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly by the party. This resignation from the Lok Sabha goes to show that Akhilesh Yadav is set on doing big things as the leader of the Opposition in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly. Akhilesh Yadav approached the Lok Sabha speaker, Om Birla in his office on Tuesday and resigned from his Lok Sabha membership. The former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav, was elected from Azamgarh constituency to the Lok Sabha in 2019.
