National Energy Conservation Day 2023: National Energy Conservation Day is celebrated every year on 14 December in India. The Energy Conservation Act in India was implemented by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency in the year 2001. Today every human being in the world is dependent on nature to fulfill his needs and wants. A perfect opportunity for everyone including communities, people, businessmen and government institutions to highlight their role in saving energy through various changes in lifestyle as well as industrial regulations. Every year, the National Energy Conservation Awards are organized by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency under the Ministry of Power. Bureau of Energy Efficiency is a statutory body which comes under the Government of India. and helps in developing policies and strategies to reduce energy use. Many energy conservation competitions are organized by the government and other organizations across India to make the national energy conservation campaign more effective and special.
Petroleum Conservation Research Association was established in 1977 by the Government of India to promote energy conservation and efficiency among the Indian people. Today every human being in the world is dependent on nature for the fulfillment of his needs and needs. The biggest need of man is energy. Without energy man is very helpless.
