Chennai, March 9 Chennai Super Kings (CSK) players, led by captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, started net practice for the upcoming leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Earlier, the players had to remain in seclusion under the rules and they started practicing after getting negative in RT-PCR investigation.

Apart from the charismatic captain Dhoni, veteran batsmen Ambati Rayudu, Ruturaj Gaikwad and some other players practiced in the camp in the camp started on Monday.

Tamil Nadu’s N Jagadeesan, R Sai Kishore and C Hari Nishant practiced alongside Dhoni and Rayudu in the recent players’ auction. The camp also includes new bowler Harishankar Reddy.

Team Chief Executive Officer Kashi Vishwanath said, “CSK players have started practice tomorrow after completing their isolation. Gradually some other players will also join the team by completing the separation period. “

He said that leg-spinners Karn Sharma and Bhagat Verma will also join the team in the coming days.

Dhoni arrived here on Wednesday.

The IPL will begin on April 9, while the Chennai team will begin their campaign against the Delhi Capitals on April 10.
