Manoj Gharat has been appointed as MNS Dombivli city president. On ‘Krishnakunj’, Raj Thackeray handed over the responsibility to Gharat. Now the three loyal leaders of Raj Thackeray, Nitin Sardesai, Avinash Jadhav and Shirish Sawant, have the responsibility to form a party against the backdrop of Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation, prevent leakages and win more and more candidates.

We have one but ‘good’

“Raju Patil is our only MLA. People often say that there is only one… there is only one… we have one but there is ‘good’. Therefore, the only request to all in Kalyan Dombivali is that there is no reason to be distracted by such a change of party. Under the leadership of Raju Patil, we will definitely achieve great success in Kalyan Dombivali, ”said MNS leader Bala Nandgaonkar.

Rajesh Kadam in Shiv Sena

In the presence of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, a number of activists from Dombivali, including MNS state vice-president Rajesh Kadam, have joined the Shiv Sena. Rajesh Kadam is neither an MLA nor a corporator. However, with Rajesh Kadam joining the party on the year of his direct residence as the Chief Minister, one can only guess how strong Rajesh Kadam can be in Kalyan Dombivali. Naturally, Rajesh Kadam’s entry into Shiv Sena will be a big blow to MNS.

Former MNS Opposition Leader Mandar Halbe

A mountain of challenge in front of the lone MLA of MNS

For the last 10 years, MNS has been playing the role of active opposition party in Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation. Before the break up of Shiv Sena-BJP alliance, MNS had the opposition post of NMC. In 2010, 28 MNS corporators were elected, while in 2015, only 9 corporators won. Raju Patil, the only MNS MLA in the 2019 Assembly, was elected from Dombivali. After that, it was said that the strength of MNS would increase. However, MNS MLA Raju Patil is facing a big challenge in the coming elections.
