Sagar Rana Death: The Delhi Police has announced a Rs 1 lakh bounty on those who provide information about Olympic medalist Sushil Kumar, who is wanted in connection with the murder of former junior wrestling champion Sagar Rana. Sushilkumar, accused in Rana’s murder case, has been missing for the past few days. Police have also announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for information leading to the arrest of another accused in the case, Ajay.

Sagar Rana Death, 23, and another were seriously injured in a scuffle between two wrestlers outside the Chatrasal Stadium in New Delhi on May 4. They were later admitted to the hospital. Rana died while undergoing treatment. A case has been registered against Sushilkumar and others in this connection under non-bailable sections of the police.

However, Sushilkumar later said that he had nothing to do with what happened at the stadium. The Delhi Rohini court on Tuesday will hear Sushil’s anticipatory bail application in this regard. Additional Sessions Judge Jagadish Kumar will hear the case.

Sushilkumar is the only Indian to win two Olympic medals in individual events. Sushil won bronze at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and silver at the 2012 London Olympics in freestyle wrestling.
