Kevin Durant requests trade from Brookyn Nets

In a decision that might transform the NBA for years to come, franchise star Kevin Durant has asked for a trade from the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday,

His service supervisor Rich Kleiman informed ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Nets general manager Sean Marks is working with Durant and Kleiman on discovering a trade, Kleiman told ESPN.

However, the Nets are not tied to honoring any of Durant's favored destinations and plan to negotiate that allows them the best return of properties, sources told Wojnarowski.
