I wanted to do a kissing scene with the then-star actor Sanjay Dutt. I was only 18 at the time and wanted to do a kissing scene with someone like that. Whose posters I had put up in my bedroom. ‘
Pooja further said, ‘I remember my father took me aside and told me something that I will remember for the rest of my life. He told me, if you feel vulgar in it, it will look vulgar. So you should be able to give a kissing scene or a love-making scene beautifully and innocently. Because it should touch the hearts of the people. ‘
Pooja had made a special appearance in ‘Sadak 2’ released in 2020. But now she is returning to acting in the true sense of the word from ‘Bombay Begum’. In which she is playing the role of a CEO.
‘Bombay Begum’ is a 6-part Netflix drama. Directed by Alankruta Srivastava, the series stars Shahana Goswami, Plabita Borthakur, and Amrita Subhash in the lead roles. The web series will be released on Netflix on the occasion of Women’s Day on March 8.
