The Delhi government has taken this decision in view of the increase in the number of patients once again during the corona infection. Now to the citizens coming to Delhi from five states Corona negative It will be mandatory to bring the report with you.

Of the total corona patients found last week, 86 percent are from these five states. Therefore, the nodal officers of these five states are given a 72-hour negative notice to the citizens who have left their place for Delhi. RT PCR test Orders are being issued to confirm the report.

The Delhi government’s order will be effective from Friday night, February 26 to 12.00 noon on March 15. That is, in Maharashtra you are entering the capital Delhi from Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, or Punjab, you need to have a negative RT-PCR report.

This order will be applicable to passengers arriving in Delhi by air, train, and bus. However, citizens entering Delhi by private car will be exempted from this.

Restrictions also apply in Uttarakhand

Earlier, the Uttarakhand government had announced a similar decision and made the corona test mandatory for citizens coming from these five states. Citizens from Maharashtra, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Punjab will have to undergo corona test at the district boundary. For this, testing facilities are being provided at Asharodi checkpost, railway station and airport.

The situation in some states is worrisome

In Maharashtra, Kerala and Punjab, the number of corona patients is once again in critical condition, the health ministry had said. Kerala has 38% active corona patients while Maharashtra has 37% patients undergoing treatment.

If we look at the number last week, the number of corona patients in Maharashtra has increased by 81%. Madhya Pradesh recorded 43 percent, Punjab 31 percent, Jammu and Kashmir 22 percent, Chhattisgarh 13 percent, and Haryana 11 percent. Apart from this, the number of corona patients in Chandigarh has also increased by 43 percent.
