During Tamil Nadu Assembly Election 2021 Kanchipuram Actors in the area and Makkal Nidhi Mayyam (MNM) Party leader Kamal Haasan It is reported that a person attacked his car. It is understood that the incident took place on Sunday night.
Haasan’s car was allegedly attacked by a youth on his way to his hotel after the campaign in Kanchipuram. The attacker is said to be a fan of young Kamal Haasan.
Haasan was not injured in the attack, according to party leaders. But his car was damaged. The accused also tried to force open the door of Haasan’s car.
The accused arrested the youth and handed him over to the police. It is said that the accused was intoxicated.
After the sudden attack on Haasan’s car, the activists caught the young man and washed him thoroughly. Police later arrested him and took him to a hospital for treatment and examination.
In the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, Makkal Nidhi Mayyam has fielded its candidates from 154 constituencies. Kamal Haasan himself is contesting from Coimbatore South constituency.
Voting for 234 seats in the Tamil Nadu Assembly will be held on the same day, April 6. The results of the elections along with other states will be announced on May 2. The ruling AIADMK in the state is in alliance with the BJP and PAK.
