Deep Sidhu had escaped from the clutches of the farmers who were asking for help after the incident at the Red Fort. A video of this also went viral on social media. Farmers’ organizations had alleged that Deep Sidhu belonged to the BJP.

Delhi Police announces reward for accuse

Earlier, the Delhi Police had announced a bounty of Rs 1 lakh on him and other accused. The Delhi Police had announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh each for information leading to the arrest of Deep Sidhu, Jugraj Singh, Gurjot Singh and Gurjant Singh, and Rs 50,000 each for information leading to the arrest of Jajbir Singh, Buta Singh, Sukhdev Singh and Iqbal Singh.

His first Punjabi film ‘Ramata Jogi’ was released in 2015 and his second film ‘Jora Das Nambariya’ was released in 2018.
