Stock Market opened on high today, trading stopped on National Stock Exchange

Today, on the third trading day of the week, the stock market opened up high. The Bombay Stock Exchange‘s leading index Sensex opened 123.31 points (0.25 percent) at 49,874.72 in early trade. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty opened at 14,743.80, up 36 points, or 0.24 percent. 931 stocks gained, 272 stocks declined and 46 stocks remained unchanged.

Trading halted on NSE

It may be known that due to technical glitch, trading on NSE has suddenly stopped. Because of this, the NSE’s index feed is having problems. Work is on to restore the system as soon as possible. All segments have been closed at 11:40 am. Trading on BSE is going on as before.

Rupee strengthened 14 paise against dollar in early trade

On Wednesday, the rupee rose 14 paise to 72.32 against the US dollar in the local inter-banking foreign exchange market due to softening of the US currency in foreign markets. The rupee was supported by the softening of the dollar against other currencies of the world in global markets and the beginning of a rally in the domestic stock markets. Trading in local currency started at Rs 72.35 per dollar against the dollar in the inter-bank foreign exchange market, and then further strengthened to Rs 72.32 per dollar. At this level it was 14 paise stronger than the previous day’s closing price.

8 companies out of top 10 reduced market capitalization last week

Last week, 8 of the top 10 Sensex companies lost market capitalization of Rs 1.23 lakh crore. The BSE Sensex lost 654.54 points or 1.26 percent in the previous week. Among the top 10 companies, only Reliance Industries (RIL) and State Bank of India (SBI) registered gains. At the same time, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) fell the most and its market valuation fell by Rs 44,672.14 crore to Rs 11,52,770.11 crore.

State of heavy stock

Talking about the big stocks, shares of Tata Steel, JSW Steel, BPCL, Shree Cement and Hero MotoCorp opened on the green mark during initial trading today. At the same time, shares of Maruti, UPL, Infosys, HDFC and Tech Mahindra opened on the red mark.

Sectoral index tracking

If we look at the sectoral index, today all sectors except IT started at the edge. These include FMCG, Realty, Media, Banks, Pharma, Finance Services, Auto, PSU Bank, Metal and Private Banks.

The Sensex was up 74.80 points (0.15 percent) at 49,826.21 during the pre-open at 9.01 am. The Nifty was up 76.30 points (0.52 percent) at 14,784.10.

The market was open on the previous trading day on the rise

The Sensex opened with a gain of 225.67 points (0.45 percent) at 49,969.99 on the previous trading day. At the same time, the Nifty opened at 14,744 levels, up 68.30 points, or 0.47 percent.

The market was closed on a slight rise on Tuesday

There was a slight rise in the stock market on Tuesday. The Sensex closed at 49751.41 with a slight gain of 7.09 points or 0.01 percent. At the same time, the Nifty closed at 14707.80, up 32.10 points or 0.22 percent.
