Dr BR Ambedkar Death Anniversary: Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, popularly known as Babasaheb, is India’s greatest reform leader and the chief architect of the Constitution of India. 6 December is the death anniversary of BR Ambedkar, one of India’s foremost social reformers and leader of the drafting committee of the Constitution of India. Dr. Ambedkar played an important role in drafting the Indian Constitution and was a strong advocate of social justice and equality. Born on April 14, 1891, in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, Ambedkar is often referred to as the principal architect of India’s Constitution or as a Dalit leader, but he was also a pioneer of women’s empowerment in India.
