He had made an important discovery related to the photon theory of light, which was considered iron by the whole world and for this discovery, CV Raman won the Nobel Prize in Physics in the year 1930. His invention in the field of science is known as the ‘Raman Effect. Sir CV Raman was the great physicist of India. He discovered the scattering of light on 28 February 1928. For this invention, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930.
