The decision was taken due to the ill health of several players of the Kolkata Knight Riders. The match was scheduled to be played at 7 pm at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The 14th season of the IPL started on April 9. Some players and support staff were infected with corona before the start of the IPL. But none of the people who came into the bio bubble were corona. we have received a message from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Today’s match between (KKR vs RCB) has been postponed. The new date for today’s match will be announced soon, said Gujarat Cricket Association secretary Anil Patel.

Varun Chakraborty and Sandeep Warrior, both from Kolkata Knight Riders, tested positive for corona. So Royal Challengers Bangalore is not looking forward to playing with him. Varun and Sandeep’s test positive has raised concerns in the RCB team. That is why the match was postponed, the BCCI said.
