Ford Motor is making waves in the automotive industry with its latest announcement regarding the 2025 Lincoln Navigator. The luxury vehicle is set to come equipped with a groundbreaking 48-inch front display that aims to cater to spa enthusiasts and gamers alike, creating a serene “sanctuary” within the vehicle.
The revamped Navigator for the 2025 model year features a host of new design elements both inside and out as Ford seeks to set the SUV apart from its competitors. Dianne Craig, president of Lincoln, emphasized the Navigator’s ability to serve as a haven away from home, providing comfort and rejuvenation for drivers both on and off the road.
One of the standout features of the new Navigator is the “Lincoln Rejuvenate” mode, which transforms the vehicle into a tranquil environment for the driver. The mode initiates various relaxation techniques such as reclining the driver’s seat, warming it slightly, and offering gentle massages. Additionally, the climate inside the vehicle changes, and soothing scents and calming visuals are employed to enhance the overall experience.
Partnering with meditation and sleep app company Calm, the Navigator offers a “waterfall meditation” experience, along with other themes like “aurora borealis” and “elements.” For those more inclined towards entertainment, the front display can be utilized for video streaming and gaming applications while the vehicle is stationary.
Despite the luxurious upgrades, the 2025 Navigator will maintain its powerful performance with a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine, delivering 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. The SUV will also feature the BlueCruise advanced driver-assistance system for hands-free driving on highways.
While Ford has announced that the starting price for the 2025 Navigator will be below $100,000, specific pricing details will be disclosed closer to the vehicle’s launch in the spring of 2025. Current Navigator models range from $83,000 to over $114,000, with an average transaction price exceeding $101,300.
The reveal of the redesigned Navigator took place during the Monterey Car Week and the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance car show in California. As Lincoln seeks to boost sales and reinvigorate interest in the Navigator, this innovative upgrade could pave the way for a new era of luxury SUVs in the automotive market.
