Leaders of several parties including Congress gave notice of suspension of business, seeking debate on the issue
Congress MPs Ghulam Nabi Azad and Anand Sharma gave a suspension of business notice on the ongoing peasant movement in Rajya Sabha. Bahujan Samaj Party, CPI, All India Trinamool Congress, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, have also given notice of suspension of business on the ongoing peasant movement in Rajya Sabha. MPs of all parties have previously demanded a debate on the peasant movement.
Since the beginning of the budget session, the leaders of opposition parties have taken a tough stance in the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha on the farmer movement. In the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday, leaders of several parties including Congress, BSP, DMK, CPI have given notice of suspension of business to the speaker.

Take back the agricultural laws center
Let us know that the farmer movement has been going on throughout the country for two and a half months. The leaders of peasant associations are adamant on the insistence of agricultural laws. On the other hand the central government is ready to amend the agricultural laws.
