Today in the market, Java development is amongst the programming languages dominating in the market, and it has generated a plethora of job opportunities in the Java software development company. Due to its functionality, the Java framework is the most demanded programming language in various fields such as web development, big data, Android development, to name a few.

The Java language uses various frameworks that are useful in building software applications. This article is based on the collection of Java frameworks that you can use as a developer in the software industry.

  • Spring: This framework is one of the most adaptable Java frameworks for reducing the complexity of enterprise-grade application development. The spring framework was first released in March 2004, and since then, the sturdy and open-source framework has grown in popularity to the point where it is now referred to as the “framework of frameworks.” Spring is an open-source, loosely linked Java application framework.
  • Hibernate: Hibernate is one of the most powerful frameworks for extending Java’s Persistence API. Hibernate is an open-source ORM (Object-Relational-Mapping) solution that is exceptionally lightweight and performance-oriented.
  • Struts: Apache Struts is a web application framework that is open-source. By partitioning model, view, and controller and binding these three through the struts-config.xml file, it follows MVC (Model-View-Controller), resulting in a convenient application. Struts 1 and Struts 2 are the two variations. The improved version, Struts 2, is recommended by all businesses. It comes with several plugins that handle AJAX, REST, and JSON.
  • Google Web Toolkit (GWT): Spring is an open-source framework that any Java application can use. It solves the problem of tight coupling between modules by allowing for loose coupling, which means that changes in one class do not necessitate changes in other classes. Spring is a complete product in and of itself, as it includes capabilities like setup and security. Because it has a vibrant community, there is a wealth of information available about it on the internet.
  • Play: A custom Java software development firm uses this Java framework as a web application framework that is free and open-source. It adheres to the well-known MVC (Model View Controller) design paradigm. This framework was written in Scala, but it may be used with other programming languages compiled to JVM bytecode, such as Java.
  • Java Server Faces (JSF): Oracle is the company that created JSF, and it is a part of the Java Platform, Enterprise Edition, and thus a Java Community Process standard. JSF is a component-based UI framework based on MVC design that allows developers to simply drag and drop UI components without having a comprehensive understanding of technologies such as JavaScript, etc. It avoids the need for a new framework by allowing existing Java backend code to be enhanced with a web interface. Facelets is a templating framework for JSF that enables integration with AJAX-enabled components.
  • Dropwizard: As the name says, this Java framework is a wizard, and because of its extensive support for logging, application metrics, and complex customizations, it completes the application quickly. It combines several Java ecosystem libraries into a single framework. When all of Dropwizard’s features are considered combined, its rapid development of RESTful APIs and support for rapid prototyping make it magical.
  • Angular 2+: This one is another JavaScript framework on my list of things to learn in 2022. It’s a fully client-side solution. On the client-side, AngularJS can be used to generate dynamic web pages. The client offers declarative templates, dependency injection, end-to-end tooling, and integrated best practices to address common development issues. It uses Directives to extend HTML attributes and Expressions to connect data to HTML. Because it’s a JavaScript library, you can use the script> tag to include it in your HTML page.
  • Grails: Grails is a user-friendly game for beginners. It’s written in Groovy, a Java-based programming language. Groovy is a programming language that is similar to Java but has more features. Grails is an MVC-based framework that operates on the Java platform and is compatible with Java syntax. The rendering element of Grails is GSP (Groovy Server Pages), and GORM is the ORM implementation for it. An advantage of the Grails framework is that it allows us to combine Grails and Java code. What if we used a combination of Groovy and Java code? It’ll work perfectly.
  • Vaadin: Vaadin is a whole new way of working because it takes care of client-server connections and routing, allowing you to focus solely on the presentation layer. It’s open-source, and its components can be tweaked to build extremely adaptable code. Vaadin’s UI components take care of browser activities, so you can write your app entirely in Java.
